South West Podiatry have been fitting the Richie Brace for many years. The Richie Brace® family of AFOs has been successful for thousands of patients over 25+ years; treating the most challenging foot & ankle conditions. The lightweight, low-profile design makes it the preferred option over traditional AFOs. South West Podiatry use custom made Richie Brace for Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction (PTTD), drop foot, complex ankle conditions and tendon ruptures.

How can I get a Richie Brace?
Step 1.
Schedule a face to face initial consultation with a podiatrist at any of our clinical locations. Click here to schedule online.
Step 2.
The podiatrist will discuss suitability and the type of Richie Brace we can provide. We will then schedule an appointment to take a full plaster of paris mould of your lower limb and foot. The cast is sent to the lab to be manufactured.
Step 3.
Our administrative team will contact you when the brace is ready and invite you for a fitting appointment. The brace will be checked, fitted and after this appointment, you can start to use the device.
Step 4.
A final check will be arranged within 4-6 weeks to ensure that the device is helping you to achieve your goal.
